Technology support may be requested for the following situations by personnel in Â鶹´«Ã½ College of Arts and Sciences departments, service offices and labs.

  • College computer lab reservations
  • College or department controlled or funded classroom and conference room technology
  • Computer lab problems
  • Computer virus and malware removal
  • Desktop and laptop problems
  • Erasing and setting up used desktops and laptops
  • File server setup, administration and support
  • Hardware installations, upgrades and repairs (computers, printers, copiers and audio visual equipment)
  • Instructional technology equipment
  • Internal-external grant consultation
  • Laptop video adapter checkout (1019 Brown Hall, 3394 Rood Hall and 4216 Dunbar Hall)
  • Limited equipment checkout (department specific and location specific)
  • Network data jack planning and installation
  • Network jack or connection issues
  • Planning, creating specifications and price quoting for new technology equipment (desktops, laptops, printers, network copiers and audio visual equipment)
  • Secure erasing and disposal of old used equipment
  • Setup for local printers, network printers or network copiers
  • Setup for new desktops and laptops
  • Software application installations
  • Technology proposals assistance (college, department or grant)

  • Bronco NetID accounts and passwords
  • Issues with Â鶹´«Ã½ enterprise application (e.g., Kronos, Cognos, Banner, WebNow, Perceptive Content, Webmail, GLOW) beyond the local computer such as login, access rights, server down or how to use
  • General purpose classroom technology cart issues (registrar-controlled rooms)
  • How to use any given software application after installation or login
  • Telephone setup, moves and issues
