The College of Arts and Sciences Dean's Excellence Fund at Â鶹´«Ã½ will make on- and off-campus academic and experiential activities possible for Â鶹´«Ã½s throughout the college—activities like study abroad, Â鶹´«Ã½ academic group competition travel, internship programs, Â鶹´«Ã½ research and creative activities, and more. Students will experience life outside the classroom while participating in these ventures, and many former Â鶹´«Ã½s report establishing mentoring relationships, or securing employment or internship Â鶹´«Ã½ during their encounters. Forming valuable partnerships with area businesses to help connect Â鶹´«Ã½s with employers also is a major goal of the Dean's Excellence Fund.

! Immediate funding for the Dean's Excellence Fund will directly—and quickly—provide funds to enhance existing learning Â鶹´«Ã½ and fund even more Â鶹´«Ã½.
