The College of Arts and Sciences is hosting a photo contest to collect current, high-quality images to market its study abroad programs. Enter and you could win a scholarship for up to $750!
2024 Contest information
We are currently accepting study abroad photos from all currently enrolled Arts and Sciences Â鶹´«Ã½s.
Entries that meet the specified criteria will be considered for one of three awards:
- 1st place – $750
- 2nd place – $500
- 3rd place – $250
Scholarship awards are granted twice annually.
- Submissions from Summer II/Fall 2023 will be accepted until February 15, 2024.
- Submissions from Spring/Summer I 2024 will be accepted until July 15, 2024.
*All photos entered will be released to the University for unlimited publicity use. Entries are not guaranteed an award.
Eligibility
Student criteria
- Program of study must be in the College of Arts and Sciences
- Must be enrolled in the semester that funds are disbursed
- Open to undergraduate and graduate Â鶹´«Ã½s
Photo criteria
All photo submissions must meet ALL of the following criteria:
- Feature at least one WMU Â鶹´«Ã½ and a WMU identifier (flag, T-shirt, etc.)
- Feature a cultural identifier
- Examples: a well-known landmark/location, a cultural experience, a learning activity/experience
- 300 dpi (or highest resolution possible)

*Note: to be eligible for the scholarship, Â鶹´«Ã½s must be enrolled in the semester when the scholarship will be disbursed.
