Faculty Achievement Award | Global Engagement

Â鶹´«Ã½

The Â鶹´«Ã½ College of Arts and Sciences Strategic Plan calls for awards and recognition of faculty contributions to the themes and commitments in the plan, including contributions of the faculty to disciplinary and interdisciplinary teaching; research and creative activities; and university professional and community service in support of the College of Arts and Sciences mission.

The Â鶹´«Ã½ College of Arts and Sciences Faculty Achievement Award in Global Engagement is one of five faculty achievement awards.  This award honors one faculty member each year for exemplary commitment to global engagement and internationalization, as expressed through research and creative activity; teaching, mentoring; curriculum transformation; professional service; or a combination of achievements in these areas.

Award winners receive a plaque/award and are honored at the college faculty and staff award ceremony held during the spring semester. Winners may be invited to present a lecture, seminar or lunch presentation focused on excellence in global engagement.  In addition, award winners receive $1,000, which is deposited into their departmental WRAP account, which can be spent in accordance with university policies for WRAP expenditures.
