Multicultural Navigation Specialists

We're on this journey together.

Multicultural navigation specialists provide direct support to Â鶹´«Ã½s from historically marginalized communities, including asset-based coaching and connections to relevant Â鶹´«Ã½ groups, support and programming that create belonging.

While this support is available to all undergraduate Â鶹´«Ã½s, the navigator network will initially focus on those who are first-generation college Â鶹´«Ã½s, Pell-eligible and from historically marginalized communities.

Through various programs and events, navigation specialists provide support in:

  • Academic monitoring/support
  • Employment and internship exploration 
  • Events and programs that promote cultural awareness
  • Mentoring
  • Networking Â鶹´«Ã½
  • Student organization support

Western has extensive Â鶹´«Ã½ support resources, but for many Broncos, knowing where to begin can be overwhelming.
