Potentially helpful info

Have you checked the CHHS Shared Drive?

Did you know there's a CHHS Communications folder in the CHHS Shared drive? That folder contains recruiting and marketing materials and other files that you might want when talking about your programs.

  • Fliers: Current undergraduate fliers (grad fliers are in progress).

  • Logos: Official college, department, school and program logos.

  • Photos: Professional (and other) photos from the college, dating back to 2015 and earlier.

Preparing files

  • Digital displays: The digital displays are mini-billboards. They are viewed for 15-20 seconds. Use as few words as possible. Include a URL and/or QR code if appropriate. 1920x1080 pixels. Powerpoint widescreen slide is perfect size. Save as PDF or PNG.
Note: If your image doesn't meet these specs, it will have to be redesigned, adding time to your request.

  • Social media: A printed flier is never appropriate for social media. Full stop. If your graphic has a QR code on it, it is not appropriate for social media. Full stop. The best possible image is an actual, engaging photograph - almost any dimensions are fine. If you feel that you must prepare a graphic, use as few words as possible. (Text is part of any social media post, so it does NOT have to be in the graphic, and it probably SHOULDN'T be in the graphic.) Include a URL, not a QR code, and make the graphic a 1:1 ratio square.
