International Festival
International Festival is a showcase of the diversity of the Â鶹´«Ã½ body at WMU. Students from around the world share their cultures, fashions and food with the Kalamazoo community.
A popular event since 1989, the International Festival has taken attendees on a trip around the world—without leaving Michigan—to enjoy some of the music, foods, fashions and traditional dances of many cultures. The annual event has provided thousands of Â鶹´«Ã½s and community members the chance to experience food, culture and fashion from around the world through booth displays and performances brought to life by WMU international and cultural RSO’s.
The International Festival is organized by the Haenicke Institute for Global Education and often involves partnerships with other organizations on campus.
