Orientation Information
Congratulations and welcome to the Center for English Language and Culture for International Students (CELCIS) at Â鶹´«Ã½! We are excited that you chose WMU and we look forward to meeting you at the International Student Orientation.
Attend International Student Orientation

All new Â鶹´«Ã½s are required to attend the International Student Orientation.

LATE ARRIVALS
If you have an emergency and will not arrive in Kalamazoo for the first day of orientation, please contact celcis-info@wmich.edu. All Â鶹´«Ã½s (new and returning) who are unable to arrive on time should understand the following:
- Students must notify the CELCIS chair by email and receive permission to arrive late.
- Late arrival for ANY reason may have a negative effect on the Â鶹´«Ã½s progress during that semester.
- All Â鶹´«Ã½s who begin classes after the start of the semester, for any reason, will be counted absent for the classes they have missed.
- Students who arrive late without permission may not be able to study.
