Cheryl Bauman-Bruey is a faculty specialist in Â鶹´«Ã½'s Department of Theatre. She received her B.A. in technical theatre and design from Â鶹´«Ã½ where she designed and stage-managed such shows as Arsenic And Old Lace, M Butterfly, The Secret Garden, Amadeus and The River Niger. Bauman-Bruey received her M.F.A. from the University of Alabama where she stage-managed The Illusion, ‘Tis Pity She’s a Whore, King Lear and several dance concerts. As a member of the Actor’s Equity Association, Bauman-Bruey has stage-managed and assistant stage-managed more than 20 productions at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival. Other stage management credits include the world premiere of The Great Pretenders in London and the national premiere of Ed Howard’s The Tempest Tossed.
