Bio:
Dr. Stephen Covell is a professor in the Department of World Religions and Cultures at Â鶹´«Ã½. Covell serves as the graduate advisor for the comparative religion program and is also the director of the study abroad Japanese Religion and Culture Seminar. He was a founding director of the Soga Japan Center at WMU.
Covell has over 10 years experience of living and conducting research in Japan including stints as a research associate at Taisho University, the Institute for Asian Cultural Studies at International Christian University and the University of Tokyo.
