Take Non-Credit Culinary Classes at GHC This Fall!

The Community and Continuing Education program at 麻豆传媒 will offer two series of culinary classes this fall, Chefs in the Kitchen and Cuisine, Culture, and Community. The upcoming classes are not credit bearing and will be held in the state-of-the-art Culinary Arts labs in GHC鈥檚 new tulalW Student Center.
GHC鈥檚 Culinary Arts Consultant Candi Bachtell led the creation of the upcoming slate of classes. Bachtell has 37 years of experience in the culinary industry and was previously the owner of Savory Faire Caf茅 in Montesano.
鈥淥ur goal is meeting the changing dynamics and needs of Grays Harbor and Pacific County鈥檚 citizen involvement in continuing education, our workforce, and businesses,鈥 said Bachtell. 鈥淲e also hope to have fun and bring people together over food.鈥
Chefs in the Kitchen Series
The first series of non-credit culinary classes this fall is Chefs in the Kitchen, which Bachtell described as a 鈥渃ulinary journey celebrating the vibrant flavors and talents of our local community.鈥 Classes in this series include:
- 鈥 Tuesday, October 8
- 鈥 Wednesday, October 9 and Wednesday, October 16
- 鈥 Monday, October 21
- 鈥 Saturday, October 26
- 鈥 Tuesday, October 29
- 鈥 Tuesday, November 5 and Tuesday, November 12
Cuisine, Culture, and Community Series
The second series held this fall is Cuisine, Culture, and Community. According to Bachtell, the goal of this series is to, 鈥渋lluminate the essence of our community, where stories intertwine with flavors and traditions are passed down through generations.鈥 Classes in this series include:

- 鈥 Saturday, October 26
- 鈥 Wednesday, October 30
- 鈥 Wednesday, November 6
- 鈥 Thursday, November 7
