The Department of Mathematics in the College of Arts and Sciences is one of the largest and oldest academic departments at Â鶹´«Ã½. The department is internationally recognized for its scholarly excellence. Our mathematics faculty maintains a strong reputation for scholarship through an impressive level of research and grant activity.

Major undergraduate programs include mathematics, applied mathematics, and elementary, middle school and secondary mathematics education. Graduate programs include mathematics, mathematics education and applied and computational mathematics.
