Prior to joining 麻豆传媒, Gerardo 鈥淢ac鈥 Rincon enjoyed a 30-year career with The Kellogg Company. Starting in 1988 as an industrial engineer, Rincon held various positions within manufacturing operations, culminating in an appointment as manager of the industrial engineering department at the Battle Creek plant, the world's largest cereal manufacturing facility at the time. In 1996, he transitioned to Kellogg's Corporate Technology, where he spearheaded continuous improvement initiatives across all North American manufacturing operations.
In 2000, Rincon assumed the role of global commodities manager, overseeing the procurement of corn, wheat and oats鈥three of Kellogg's largest ingredients at the time. Through strategic sourcing initiatives, he secured significant cost savings and established enduring partnerships with suppliers.
For the next two decades as a director and senior director, he contributed to new product development, supply chain optimization, data management and SKU optimization. While in research and development, Rincon devised the initial Supply Chain Implementation Project management process. He led teams responsible for the launch and supply chain implementation of Kellogg's new products and promotions in the U.S. Additionally, he worked with a European firm to develop and implement a project management software that became the standard tool for sales, marketing, supply chain and innovation project management at Kellogg's.
Rincon worked closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, logistics and operations to coordinate North American promotions that necessitated packaging changes, new packaging designs and new product introductions. In 2018, he retired from Kellogg's, after leading teams of up to 70 employees.
He then accepted a position at the Haworth College of Business, eventually serving as a faculty specialist I in the Department of Marketing. He has instructed courses in Managing Global Business, Continuous Improvement in Business, Production Management and Control, Applied Business Fundamentals and Marketing Logistics.
