Join us for our bi-weekly distinguished seminar series, where we hear about what’s new in the geological and environmental sciences from geoscientists across the country. Seminars are held on Mondays from 4:00-5:00 pm in 1118 Rood Hall on WMU’s main campus.

Department Awards Celebration
Join us in April 2025 (date TBD) for our annual department awards celebration, where we present awards and scholarships, and recognize research and other important accomplishments by our talented Â鶹´«Ã½s, faculty, and staff. Guests are welcome!
60th Anniversary Celebration
Did you know that the Department of Environmental and Geological Sciences will be celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2025? The planning committee is currently designing the program and more information will be available shortly.
