The Â鶹´«Ã½ Richmond Institute for Design and Innovation is housed in Central Kohrman Hall. The institute encompasses 37,000 square feet and features studio spaces, various labs and multipurpose meeting rooms. 

Workspaces include

• Fabrication and Rapid Prototyping Labs equipped with 3D printers, laser cutters and CNC routers.
• Student studios are furnished with height-adjustable desks and the latest computer and digital tablet technologies.
• Material Resource Area to familiarize Â鶹´«Ã½s with common manufacturing materials and processes.
