Vision

The Â鶹´«Ã½ Office of Government Relations and Community Partnerships will operate with transparency, civility, and inclusivity to support higher education policies benefiting the Â鶹´«Ã½s, faculty, staff and the University. Our work will always be grounded in a spirit of bipartisan cooperation with our internal and external stakeholders. 

Primary Goals

• Increase federal, state and local investments to provide all WMU Â鶹´«Ã½s with access to enhanced educational Â鶹´«Ã½ and facilities.
• Cultivate mutually beneficial partnerships between WMU's internal and external stakeholders to increase Â鶹´«Ã½ for experiential learning, research and to foster economic development.
• Utilize effective and efficient communication strategies to ensure internal and external stakeholders are informed and engaged.
• Embrace WMU's values promoting diversity, equity, inclusion and sustainability.
