I work at Michigan Ear Institute, where I devote my time to providing audiological services for individuals of all ages with various hearing and balance disorders.

What is the most rewarding and the most challenging part of your job?

The most rewarding would be helping the patients. The challenging part would be how busy it is, it can be overwhelming at times.

Which of your skills had the biggest impact on your success?

I believe in the importance of strong interpersonal skills. The ability to relate and communicate to others has been extremely helpful and useful throughout my educational and clinical career at WMU.

What advice do you have for others pursuing a career similar to yours?

Always put your best foot forward and make the most out of every clinical opportunity you are given.  It is so important that you take advantage of the time you are given to grow and learn under direct supervision of professionals in our field. Be sure to push yourself out of your comfort zone, ask a lot of questions, and establish good relationships with the supervisors you work with. You never know what kind of Â鶹´«Ã½ may arise from the people you connect with along the way!
