Paul Roosa is dedicated to delving into the elaborate world of financial data, illuminating the path for organizations and investors to make informed decisions. He currently holds the position of senior consultant in transaction advisory services at Plante Moran and is a licensed CPA in Michigan, where he actively assists clients in evaluating and navigating merger and divestiture transactions.

Roosa’s proficiency in recognizing and harnessing the evolving landscape of technology within the accounting profession has been instrumental from the outset of his career. Starting his professional journey as an auditor at PwC and eventually moving to Plante Moran, he has earned certificates and accolades for his efforts and is recognized as a key team member in pivotal areas within his organization.

Contributing to the growth of the accounting profession is important to Roosa, and he’s actively engaged in a number of initiatives with this goal in mind. Outside his daily duties, he currently serves as vice chair on the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants’ Emerging Leaders Task Force. In this role he not only connects with fellow young professionals but serves as a steward guiding the next generation of accountants and preparing them for success in the profession.

In addition, Roosa is giving back to his alma mater, spending the past two years as an adjunct instructor for WMU and imparting his knowledge in auditing. Whether it’s at work, on a task force or teaching at the Haworth College of Business, he exemplifies a commitment to shaping the future of the accounting industry.

Favorite Kalamazoo Attraction:

“I enjoyed discovering the trails and walkways that connected my apartment to Western’s main campus, forming an almost perfect six-mile loop. Having my running route through campus added a tranquil dimension to the experience, allowing me to explore the surroundings in a unique way.”
