Nichole Maury is a Professor of Printmedia at Â鶹´«Ã½'s Gwen Frostic School of Art. Nichole joined the Frostic School of Art in 2004.
Maury is the curator of the University print collection at Â鶹´«Ã½'s Gwen Frostic School of Art. Her work explores the parallel relationship that exists within printmaking, drawing, and other process-based modes of working. Her classroom curriculum emphasizes experimentation, collaboration and non-traditional print practices as a means of building on a solid foundation of traditional printmaking materials and techniques.
Maury has exhibited widely both nationally and internationally including the International Print Center New York; the Scuola di Grafica, Venice, Italy; the Chicago Cultural Center and The Urban Institute of Art, Grand Rapids, Michigan; as well as several other international venues, including India, Argentina and Ireland. Her work can be found in the collections of the New Orleans Museum of Art, Rutgers Center for Innovative Print and Paper, Iowa City Public Library, Bradley University and Minot State University in addition to many private collections.
