Chair Edgerton currently serves as Legal Compliance and Government Affairs Counsel at LivWell Enlightened Health Michigan. With over 25 years of experience in government, she has held positions at various levels including local, state legislative and executive roles. As the former director of LARA, she oversaw regulatory oversight and licensing management for the State of Michigan, directing more than 2,000 employees across 23 bureaus and agencies. Her responsibilities spanned diverse areas such as medical marihuana, fire safety, building regulations, corporations, occupational safety and health administration, workers compensation, professional licensing, community and health systems, liquor control and energy. Additionally, she managed LARA’s IT infrastructure and data systems.

Chair Edgerton holds degrees in Political Science and Public Administration from WMU, as well as a Juris Doctor from Cooley Law School. Her favorite book is "A Time to Kill" by John Grisham, and she defines success in one word: "Transformation."
