Mark Jenness, EdD, is a Senior Researcher (Emeritus), and was a co-founder of SAMPI in 1991.  He has been a lead investigator on national, state, and local science/math/technology education improvement efforts, including the Michigan Title IIA Cross-site Evaluation, Evaluation of the NASA Mars Exploration Public Engagement Program, the Physics for Everyday Thinking NSF Materials Development Project, and the evaluation of the Michigan State University NSF Teacher Professional Continuum Project.  He specializes in evaluation, research, teacher/Â鶹´«Ã½ assessment, and professional development primarily in STEM education and school improvement.  Jenness has extensive experience in instrument development, data collection and analysis, and reporting/dissemination.  He holds a master’s and a doctoral degree in education leadership/evaluation from Â鶹´«Ã½.
