KALAMAZOO, Mich.—A lot can change in a year. That's what many Broncos will find when they step back on Â鶹´«Ã½'s campus this fall, some of them for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic sent Â鶹´«Ã½s home in March 2020.
The favorite parts of campus remain with a few new additions to the Bronco family. Here is a glimpse of how things are looking since they've been gone.

The greenery is in full bloom around the pond in front of Sangren Hall.
The curtain wall on the new Â鶹´«Ã½ center and dining facility is finished! The gold fins are designed like Michigan tree foliage to help shade the building for sustainability. When light shines in, it will feel like you're in a forest.
Work on the inside of the new Â鶹´«Ã½ center and dining facility is coming along too. The project is set to be complete in August 2022. And hey, did you know it will feature a brewpub?
The concrete is getting a face-lift in front of Waldo Library in August. The main entrance is closed for the month, but the library is open. Just head through the University Computing Center to get inside.
It's almost time for demo day! Construction fencing is going up around Dunbar Hall to reimagine learning for Â鶹´«Ã½s.

French Hall is no more. Western plans to reimagine the entire southern portion of Main Campus to include new Â鶹´«Ã½ housing, the new Â鶹´«Ã½ center and dining facility, and other major building efforts.
