Assistantship Application

The Medieval Institute at Â鶹´«Ã½ awards teaching assistantships to Â鶹´«Ã½s enrolled in the master's program. All Â鶹´«Ã½s considered for admission to the M.A. program are considered for departmental financial aid. For returning Â鶹´«Ã½s, the deadline for applications for assistantships for the following academic year is February 1.

You must also arrange for two letters of reference from faculty and staff at WMU who are familiar with your academic promise and achievement. Those letters, which should be sent to the director of the Medieval Institute—preferably by email, should address your academic performance and suitability for college teaching.
