General summary
Assists with onboarding, orientation, and training of Â鶹´«Ã½ employees. Oversees onboarding for all interns, practicums and visitors from University programs to ensure compliance with contracts.
Major duties
- Assigns and monitors all training recertifications.
- Assigns and monitors all training and orientations at hire.
- Maintains training documentation in a database.
- Recruits Â鶹´«Ã½ employees by partnering with University departments.
- Completes all hiring paperwork to meet University standards.
- Creates new learning modules for the University online system.
- Attends training meetings with community stakeholders.
- Presents or arranges presentations for stakeholder trainings as required by contracts.
Minimum qualifications
Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.
Required education
- Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution
Required experience
- Three years’ relevant experience
- Experience working with staff and Â鶹´«Ã½s.
- Knowledge of human service providers.
- Experience providing services to individuals with cognitive impairments or dementia.
- Demonstrated ability to train others.
Required other
- Ability to work irregular shifts and extended hours, including evenings and weekends.
Physical requirements
Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.
Working conditions
Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
