General summary

Develops and executes comprehensive marketing, recruitment and outreach strategies to promote the University, drive Â鶹´«Ã½ recruitment, engage with alumni, and enhance community partnerships.

Major duties

  • Develops and implements marketing and communication strategies that align with the University’s goals and objectives.
  • Leads efforts to attract prospective Â鶹´«Ã½s and their families by creating compelling marketing materials and organizing recruitment events.
  • Maintains and strengthens relationships with alumni to foster their continued engagement with the University.
  • Collaborates with industry partners and community organizations to enhance the University's presence and facilitate outreach initiatives.
  • Engages with diverse audiences, including prospective Â鶹´«Ã½s and families, current Â鶹´«Ã½s, industry partners, alumni, community members, and outreach partners.
  • Leads a team of staff and Â鶹´«Ã½ employees to ensure the successful implementation of marketing and outreach initiatives.
  • Manages the budget allocated for marketing and outreach activities, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Utilizes data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.

Minimum qualifications

Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.

Required education

  • Master's degree in related field from an accredited institution.

Required experience

  • Five years' relevant experience.
  • Experience with recruiting, marketing and outreach activities.
  • Supervisory or lead experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience engaging with a diverse population.
  • Budget management experience.

Required other

  • Ability to work irregular shifts and extended hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to travel in-state and out-of-state.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
