General summary
Creates and executes strategies to increase alumni participation and philanthropic support via the alumni association call center.
Major duties
- Leads operations of the alumni association call center.
- Communicates with deans and University partners regarding content creation, segmentation, and communication strategies.
- Provides direction for workflow and problem solving and ensures attainment of production goals.
- Formulates and implements procedures for hiring, training, motivating and incentivizing Â鶹´«Ã½ fundraisers.
- Ensures implementation and maintenance of Â鶹´«Ã½ staffing policies for the department. Makes budget recommendations.
- Plans and executes campaign creation for targeted segments.
- Develops and maintains effective measurement strategies and tools to analyze the effectiveness of segmentation and communication strategies by monitoring and analyzing results, evaluating call sessions and preparing reports for and making recommendations to leadership staff.
- Coordinates with advancement services in utilizing a customer relationship management system to effectively build and segment calling lists, assign prospects, write reports, and track campaigns. Works with vendors on software implementations, troubleshooting problems, and maintenance.
- Hires, trains, evaluates and supervises Â鶹´«Ã½ employees.
Minimum qualifications

Required education
- Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution.
Required experience
- Two years' relevant experience.
- Supervisory or lead experience.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with office software, including word processing and spreadsheets.
Physical requirements
Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.
Working conditions
Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
