General summary
Supports the Libraries' evolving collection by assisting with the management of subscribed and open access, print and electronic, continuing resources. Gathers, organizes, and interprets a variety of data to inform collection decisions, content strategy, and yearly reporting obligations. Additionally, this role works directly with subscription print and electronic materials to ensure accurate holdings in the library services platform.
Major duties
- Manages the electronic resources lifecycle for subscribed, perpetual, and open access collections. Maintain vendor information in the library services platform and other systems.
- Coordinates the collection of data from library and vendor platforms. Generates reports for the interpretation of data to inform collections decisions, yearly statistical obligations, subscription negotiation, and to improve the user experience.  
- Participates in and assist with library acquisitions fiscal management reporting to inform library staff, collection development committee, and administration.
- Conducts analysis of usage data to answer strategic questions about the print and electronic collections, using the library services platforms.
- Provides support for print and electronic resources, including communicating with users and vendors to resolve entitlement and access issues.
- Contributes to library initiatives that support the development of a collection that is diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accessible. Participate in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to promote equitable holdings and access.
- Participates in ensuring library continuing resources are available to all by supporting accessibility, work with vendors to remediate concerns.
- Manages print and electronic holdings, create analyses to evaluate print to electronic coverage overlap to inform deselection decisions and coordinate deaccessioning projects.
- Assists with the coordination of Â鶹´«Ã½ employees and provide support and direction with ongoing and standing projects. 
Minimum qualifications

Required education
- Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
Required experience
- One year's relevant experience
- Experience working with library continuing resources.
- Experience working with library automation systems, or related technical services work.
- Ability to work in complex data driven environments.
- Experience with relevant programming languages.
- Knowledge of database structures.
- Knowledge of bibliographic formats and standards.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to acquire new skills in a rapidly changing environment.
Required other
- Alma Administration Certification or ability to be certified withing one year.
Physical requirements
Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.
Working conditions
Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
