General summary

Oversees a customer service team responsible for responding to phone, in-person inquiries, and all point-of-sale transactions. Performs a variety of routine accounting and financial functions along with payroll responsibilities.

Major duties

  • Applies skills and knowledge of departmental policies and procedures to perform document processing, preparation and evaluation, information verification and posting, data entry, record keeping, records compilation and filing.
  • Supports customer service-related initiatives in the department, including providing front-line customer services, assisting with events and in other areas of the department as needed.
  • Assists department payroll by preparing cash deposits and performs other clerical functions.
  • Hires, trains, evaluates and supervises staff and Â鶹´«Ã½ employees.

Minimum qualifications

Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.

Required education

  • Some college coursework from an accredited institution.

Required experience

  • One year's relevant experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced understanding of policies, procedures and products or services of assigned unit.
  • Customer service or call center experience.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
