General summary

Develops, implements and evaluates recruitment and outreach activities, strategies and programs to recruit, admit and enroll Â鶹´«Ã½s to an assigned college at the University.

Major duties

  • Develops, implements and oversees strategic plans to recruit Â鶹´«Ã½s with an emphasis on recruitment and retention. Develops and implements policies and procedures.
  • Collaborates with marketing and advising teams to create and manage marketing strategies and materials, including the college website and social media in order to promote programs and activities consistent with college enrollment goals.
  • Represents the college at recruiting events, including high schools, open houses, community colleges and other outreach events. Builds and maintains relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Creates and delivers presentations to a wide variety of audiences, including but not limited to high school Â鶹´«Ã½s and counselors, community organizations and college Â鶹´«Ã½s.
  • Develops and manages a budget for recruiting and outreach activities.
  • Supervises Â鶹´«Ã½ employees.

Minimum qualifications

Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.

Required education

  • Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution.

Required experience

  • Three years’ relevant experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Required other

  • Ability to travel in-state and out-of-state.
  • Ability to work irregular shifts and extended hours, including evenings and weekends.

Desired education

  • Master's degree in related field from an accredited institution.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
