General summary
Manages internal fellowships, grants, and awards, including securing funds. Serves as the point person for data collection, reporting, and communication to further advance the unit’s strategic plan.
Major duties
- Researches and publicizes external funding Â鶹´«Ã½ for graduate Â鶹´«Ã½s.
- Prepares communications and information regarding graduate awards to the campus community.
- Manages and oversees the application process, including assembling review committees.
- Develops assessment rubrics for awards.
- Prepares reports regarding the outcomes of award cycles.
- Communicates with award recipients and monitors progress.
- Hosts workshops and seminars to aid Â鶹´«Ã½s in preparing materials for award applications.
- Seeks donor support for new awards and fellowships.
- Assists in data collection.
Minimum qualifications
Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.
Required education
- Master's degree in related field from an accredited institution.
Required experience
- Three years' relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong office software proficiency.
- Ability to research, write, and edit for multiple platforms and to present to various audiences.
Physical requirements
Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.
Working conditions
Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
