General summary

Directs information technology project management, service management, business systems analysis, communications and marketing functions.

Major duties

  • Manages the portfolio of information technology projects. Facilitates planning and change control processes to ensure that project meet professional standards.
  • Reviews and approves project plans and budgets and assigns staff and resources.
  • Performs and facilitates business analysis and evaluation to aid in strategic decision-making.
  • Oversees the design, implementation and maintenance of enterprise information systems and software. Ensures successful governance and change control.
  • Manages the information technology service management system to ensure successful service delivery through IT business operations and processes.
  • Manages technical support and vendor relations enterprise systems.
  • Leads the management and design of public and internal facing web and electronic content management systems. Assesses effectiveness of communications and marketing. Defines metrics and methodology for measuring performance results.
  • Hires, trains, evaluates and supervises staff and Â鶹´«Ã½ employees.

Minimum qualifications

Required education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution, or Bachelor’s degree in a non-related field from an accredited institution combined with relevant experience.

Required experience

  • Five years’ relevant experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience developing information technology standards.
  • Supervisory or lead experience.
  • Vendor management experience.
  • Budget management experience.

Desired qualifications

Desired other

  • Project Management Professional certification.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
