Directs the office of Â鶹´«Ã½ engagement. Performs strategic planning, fiscal responsibility, and oversight of services.

• Provides vision and direction for all functional areas of the department including large campus programs, oversight of Â鶹´«Ã½ organization agencies, fraternity and sorority life, and training and development.
• Coordinates with the Director of the Student Center regarding operational vision to maximize space utilization of physical spaces and overall engagement within the Student Center.
• Develops, reviews, and revises contracts involving Â鶹´«Ã½ organizations and events. Establishes policies and protocols regarding legal issues, including Â鶹´«Ã½ assessment fees, tax and contract rules, and general liability and risk management issues.
• Develops and oversees departmental budgets to ensure the fiscal integrity and funding of the department and Â鶹´«Ã½ activities.
• Researches trends, Â鶹´«Ã½ development best practices, and principles to develop short and long-term strategies that best meet Â鶹´«Ã½ needs.
• Oversees the creation, development, and implementation of appropriate assessments that can be utilized to measure the effectiveness, efficiencies, and impact of programs and services.
• Creates and maintains partnerships with Â鶹´«Ã½s, faculty, and staff to promote Â鶹´«Ã½ success.
• Hires, trains, evaluates, and supervises staff and Â鶹´«Ã½ employees.

Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.

• Master's degree in related field from an accredited institution.

• Five years' relevant experience.
• Supervisory or lead experience.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Budget management experience.

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
