Summer Camps

Creativity doesn’t take a summer break! Enroll now for WMCAT’s summer camps, open to any West Michigan teen entering grades 7-12. Taught by both guest artists and WMCAT art instructors, these project-based camps are offered in four-day sessions throughout June and July 2024.

The Teen Arts + Tech Program is a nationally recognized, tuition-free afterschool experience through which Grand Rapids Public high school Â鶹´«Ã½s leverage visual arts and digital media to build creative confidence, elevate voice, connect with community, and explore possibilities for the future. The program offers semester-long experiences in on-site studios led by professional teaching artists.

WMCAT’s Daytime Studios offer field trips, workshops and semester-long arts and technology experiences to middle and high school classrooms throughout West Michigan. WMCAT’s professional teaching artists guide Â鶹´«Ã½s through customized studio experiences, leveraging creativity and state-of-the-art equipment to make connections to concepts they are learning in their classrooms.
