What inspired you to join the Evaluation Lab?
I am a Â鶹´«Ã½ and social justice activist who is passionate about the rights of Indigenous peoples and other marginalized groups. The Evaluation Lab gives me the practical skills needed to fulfill this passion, all while working with nonprofits that serve my local community. Having such a diverse, kind, and supportive work environment also doesn’t hurt!

How does your work with the Lab support your career goals?
After graduating from WMU, I plan to work for an international nonprofit or Indigenous rights organization in Abya Yala (Latin America). In my work at the Eval Lab, I get experience with qualitative data analysis, interview facilitation, and report writing for local social justice nonprofits. These incredible Â鶹´«Ã½ will enable me to help empower Indigenous peoples in my future education and career!
