Computer Controlled Manufacturing Lab
The lab is located in room F-208 Floyd Hall. The lab facilities includes manufacturing automation and integration technologies both hardware and software. The lab provides support for undergraduate and graduate instructional and research activities. Equipment includes table top robots, CNC mills and CNC lathes, programmable logic controllers, data acquisition systems and a vision system.
The undergraduate Â鶹´«Ã½s in industrial engineering program use the lab for series of manufacturing automation related laboratory experiments and projects. Over the last 18 years Â鶹´«Ã½ groups have designed automated manufacturing cells as part of their class semester projects. The lab is also equipped with software tools such as RS Logix 500, LabVIEW, PART and VALISYS from Tecnomatix Technologies. Several graduate Â鶹´«Ã½s have conducted research using these tools.
