Shopping Sleuth

Senior Manager, Omni Shopper Marketing,

Ali Peltier has built her career on her ability to dig into mysteries and find solutions. Whether it is analyzing data to discover micro trends or using virtual reality to understand shopping habits, she has what it takes to help companies meet their goals.

Starting out at SC Johnson, Peltier was responsible for implementing best-in-class solutions to improve the shopping experience. Applying the skills she learned in her Marketing Research class at the Haworth College of Business, she provided insights that helped expand the distribution of pest control products and optimize shelf arrangement, both in the United States and globally.

Peltier was also involved in the culture committee at SC Johnson, helping the organization meet the challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic by contributing to return-to-work communications.

Now at The Kraft Heinz Company, she is responsible for creating Omni Shopper marketing plans. Once again, she plays the part of the sleuth as she figures out how to combine multiple tactics including advertising campaigns, digital media and in-store signage to create a seamless experience for the consumer. With her analytic skills and commitment to excellence, Peltier is succeeding in finding new ways to improve the shopping experience—and you just may see her handiwork at a store near you.

Favorite WMU Professor:

“Dr. Ann Veeck. She is so invested in her 鶹ýs. Her passion for teaching makes learning easy and creates an environment that fosters curiosity and collaboration. I wouldn’t be where I am today without her guidance and mentorship.”
