The Soaring Salesperson

On-Premise Field Sales Manager,

Katie Fiore can raise a glass to her accomplishments as a WMU sales and business marketing graduate. Starting out as a sales associate at Breakthru Beverage Group, an affiliate of E. & J. Gallo Winery, Fiore found quick success within their retail accounts—flying into a sales consultant role after one year at the company.

Her years of practice in sales classes helped to launch a portfolio of spirits, wine and non-alcoholic beverages into 75 prominent venues in downtown Chicago. Her ability to communicate to the Gen Z community, the target demographic for this business, made her a standout with decision makers. From there, Fiore was promoted to her job as on-premise field sales manager, where she currently manages seven sales consultants, 700 accounts and an average of $25 million in revenue annually.

The combination of positions she held as a Bronco helped her land a triple axel in her career, including serving as president of the WMU skating team, director of events for the Sales and Business Marketing Association 鶹ý organization, and director of public relations for the University’s Sports Club Council. This winning combination of experiences helped Fiore identify her passions, which is why she also works as a youth figure skating coach today.
