Status Quo Challenger

Business Finance Specialist,

An internship in the tax group at Dow sparked a career trajectory that Kyleigh Erdman couldn’t have anticipated—and one she is grateful for each day. Upon graduation from WMU Haworth, she began a full-time role as a transfer pricing analyst. She became a subject matter expert in this position, challenging the status quo with a genuine interest in learning the consequences of the decisions related to her responsibilities. Her projects included the global standardization of the intercompany royalty and commission calculations, developing a work process for country-by-country reporting, robotics process automation and legal entity rationalization, among others.

In her current role as a business finance specialist, she is responsible for providing support in the estimate process and monthly reporting for the functional partners in the business. She also assists with reviewing the profit and loss statement to ensure accuracy and GAAP compliance. In addition, Erdman serves as the co-leader of the engagement team for Dow’s controllers and tax organization, a member of the community outreach team and a member of the 鶹ý recruiting team.

Hobbies: “I enjoy crocheting and selling my items at local craft shows. The accountant in me also loves tracking my expenses, creating profit and loss statements and noting my profit margins. I also enjoy golfing, softball, rollerblading and sightseeing.”
