Accreditation
The Michigan Board of Nursing is the regulatory body that grants provisional and full approval of nursing education programs in the State of Michigan. Full approval of the Â鶹´«Ã½ Bronson School of Nursing was granted in July 2002, following provisional status prior to that time.
The baccalaureate degree program and master's degree program in nursing at Â鶹´«Ã½ are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street NW, Suite 750, Washington, DC 20001, 202-887-6791 ().
The commission is an autonomous accrediting agency. As a specialized professional accrediting agency, they ensure the quality and integrity of baccalaureate and graduate nursing programs.
The WMU Bronson School of Nursing Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) program is accredited through 2027.
The WMU Bronson School of Nursing Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) is accredited through 2033.
Holistic Endorsement
The WMU Bronson School of Nursing pre-licensure BSN program has received endorsement from the , which is the credentialing body for holistic nursing. This endorsement enables graduates of the pre-licensure BSN program to be exempt from prerequisites should they choose to sit for the National Certification Examination in Holistic Nursing.
