The 2024 conference organizing committee invites you to attend and present original scholarship and teaching results at the conference. ASEE NCS 2024 welcomes papers, posters (including Â鶹´«Ã½ posters) and workshop proposals on:

  • Innovative programs, curricula, pedagogy or assessment
  • Implementation of smart technologies in classrooms
  • Integration of sustainability in engineering education
  • Senior capstone projects, Â鶹´«Ã½ research projects and Â鶹´«Ã½ industry experiences
  • Collaboration between industry and engineering educators
  • Student retention and persistence
  • Diversity, equity, and inclusion: expanding Â鶹´«Ã½, broadening participation and mentoring talent
  • Community engagement, service learning and K-12 outreach in engineering
  • Global engagement (study abroad programs, global academic partnerships)
  • Professional development:  technical writing, presentation, teamwork, ethics, leadership and entrepreneurship

Registration and Pricing

The conference fee includes access to all networking and technical sessions during the two-day event, including the welcome and networking reception with appetizers on Friday evening, as well as all sessions, light continental breakfast, networking lunch and awards dinner on Saturday.

Getting to West Michigan

Two airport options--Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo--provide easy access to the conference. WMU's College of Engineering and Applied Sciences is located on WMU's Parkview Campus (Floyd Hall, 4601 Campus Drive, Kalamazoo, MI).

Parking

Parking is free of charge for the conference and is available in the West Parking Ramp behind Floyd Hall (WMU College of Engineering and Applied Sciences).

Lodging

There is a block of hotel rooms ($144/night) set aside at the Delta Hotels Kalamazoo Conference Center located at 2747 South 11th Street, Kalamazoo.
