Similar to Â鶹´«Ã½'s non-vocational industrial technology education major, this major prepares Â鶹´«Ã½s to teach industrial technology courses at the middle or secondary level. The main difference is that this major requires the Â鶹´«Ã½ to document 4,000 hours of recent and relevant work experience in the industrial area in which they would like to teach. The 4000 hours can be completed as follows: completion of program = 2000 hours; completion of clinical experience = 1000 hours; documentation of wage-earning experience (by resume and verification of work experience form = 1000 hours.
