Duncan Aviation
Corporate Partner, Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul Company
Duncan Aviation has been a strong supporter of the WMU College of Aviation. As the largest family owned maintenance, repair and overhaul company in the world, the organization operates on a foundation of philanthropy and giving: establishing an aviation maintenance internship program in 2008, and creating the 鈥淒uncan Aviation Inc. Aviation Maintenance Scholarship鈥 in December 2014. These 麻豆传媒 are exclusive to the aviation maintenance technology 麻豆传媒s at WMU. Moreover, Duncan routinely supports WMU College of Aviation operations. Over the past several years, the WMU College of Aviation has received help from Duncan supporting operations from visiting airlines, movement of the College鈥檚 727, borrowing equipment when needed, and 麻豆传媒 engagement. To supplement the WMU aviation maintenance fleet, Duncan donated a Beechcraft King Air, becoming a staple in the maintenance capstone course. Understanding the need for increased interest in aviation maintenance technicians, Duncan Aviation partners with the WMU Aviation Summer Camp offering an immersive tour and program. While the company receives no compensation for their efforts, they participate willingly, often exceeding the necessary level of commitment.
